Cooking Class: Healthy Cooking 101

Healthy cooking doesn't have to be difficult, and in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Inga, you'll learn the basics of healthy cooking as you prepare a three-course dinner from fresh and nutritious ingredients. You'll begin the class by preparing a simple cauliflower and vegetable soup, learning how simple ingredients can yield a rich and complex flavor profile. Then, Chef Inga will teach you how to prepare a juicy and tender oven-baked chicken entrée with warmed spinach, shallots and cherry tomatoes. Finally, you'll whip up something light and sweet for dessert — strawberries Romanoff. You'll leave the class with a newfound appreciation of healthy cooking, ready to start cooking up your own healthy and delicious meals.

This class was very exciting. We learned about food composition. Color, texture, flavor, spice, sweet, savory and so much more. She gave us an insight into Thai food and we had a great time!
