Cooking Class: Sweet and Savory Southern Brunch
In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Damon, you will learn how to prepare two gourmet Southern brunch dishes — one sweet and one savory — that are sure to impress your brunch guests. Chef Damon will begin by teaching you how to make shrimp and grits with andouille gravy. Then, you will learn how to prepare bananas foster beignets with a homemade crème anglaise.
Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
Chef Damon is an experienced epicurean with a deep-seated passion for sharing his culinary skills and wisdom with others. He is classically French trained, holds two culinary degrees, has earned four professional competition medals from the American Culinary Federation, and has had a hand in opening several successful restaurants. Chef Damon currently owns a catering business known for eco-friendly practices, and can also be found playing host to a variety of interactive cooking classes.
