Cooking Class: Classic Italian With a Modern Twist

In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Jocelyn, you will learn how to prepare a gourmet three-course Italian dinner menu featuring a handful of modern twists. 


Chef Jocelyn will begin by teaching you how to build a refreshing salad featuring arugula, burrata, pickled beets and a zingy citrus vinaigrette before preparing cavatelli pasta from scratch and topped with Bolognese sauce, fresh basil and Parmesan. Lastly, you will end on a sweet note and explore the wonders of ganache as you craft a decadent chocolate espresso tart.

Pickled Beet and Burrata Salad 

With arugula, olive oil, crispy shallots and citrus vinaigrette 


Cavatelli Bolognese 

With homemade pasta, fresh basil and Parmesan


Chocolate Espresso Tart 

With wafer crust and sea salt

It was clear that Chef Jocelyn was an experienced professional from the beginning of our class. She taught me a lot of restaurant techniques I had never heard of before to totally elevate even simple dishes and I'll definitely be using her tips in my future cooking. Her food is beautiful and she explains everything from choosing the best ingredients, to unique methods she recommends, to plating choices.
