In this hands-on cooking class with Chef Alexis, you will learn the art of fusion cooking as you prepare a gourmet three-course French-American meal.
Using a bounty of fresh, high-quality ingredients, your dinner will begin with a cheesy mushroom orzotto with sun-dried tomatoes. Chef Alexis will continue sharing traditional French cooking techniques as you then make a show-stopping French entrée, steak au poivre, served with crispy Brussels sprouts, spiced baby carrots and Swiss chard. Following this rich and hearty main course, your dinner will conclude with an equally astounding apple pear cake, featuring a crumbly toffee crust and served à la mode style with a decadent homemade brie ice cream.

Chef Alexis was amazing! She is so relaxed and pleasant, always smiling making you feel very comfortable and welcomed. I really enjoyed learning about her culinary background and the reason she has certain personal favorite cuisines. After graduating from culinary school, Chef Alexis went on to further hone her craft in a variety of kitchens and roles. Chef Alexis specializes in French cuisine as well as Asian-Spanish fusion and loves hosting cooking parties as well as creating menus that showcase the beauty of seasonal ingredients.
