In this hands-on cooking class with Chef JE, you will learn how to prepare an authentic four-course Puerto Rican meal using fresh, high-quality ingredients and a blend of Spanish, African and TaĂno culinary traditions and techniques. Some of the authentic Puerto Rican recipes and dishes you can look forward to whipping up in this cooking class include a citrusy octopus, calamari and conch ceviche appetizer, avocado and crabmeat fritters with mixed greens, shrimp-stuffed mofongo and a classic Puerto Rican cheese flan for dessert.

Wonderful experience! Food was delicious and beautifully presented, and we enjoyed visiting with Chef Joseph during the visit. Very warm and inviting.
Chef JE is an American Culinary Federation Certified Executive Chef and a graduate of Johnson & Wales University. Before becoming the celebrated executive chef that he is today, Chef JE spent time working with various celebrity chefs and Food Network personalities in NYC. He is well versed in many cuisines, including Asian, French and Latin American, and enjoys sharing his expertise as a culinary instructor.
