Try your hand at Thai street food with a three-course hands-on cooking class designed to showcase the flavors and culture of southeast Asia. Chef Charles will guide you through the process of preparing crispy shrimp or vegetable egg rolls with rice noodles, carrots and fish sauce. An authentic pad thai with shrimp, vegetables or chicken is next. Sweet and delicate mango sticky rice with coconut milk and sesame seeds ends this satisfying street food-style meal.

Pad Thai

Chef Charles earned his degree from the Culinary Institute of America before going on to gain two decades of professional culinary experience. Over the past eight years, he has worked as an executive chef in Washington, D.C. while also acting as an adjunct professor of culinary arts at Montgomery College. Chef Charles also volunteers with a nonprofit program that teaches culinary skills to at-risk youth.
