Cooking Class: Cook Vegan Japanese With a Sushi Chef
Experience the rich culture of Japanese cuisine in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Fumiko.
Across five courses, you'll dive into creating fundamental Japanese dishes using fresh ingredients and professional cooking skills. First, Chef Fumiko will begin with a tangy miso soup with fried tofu and vegetables. Then, you'll learn how to make an intricate vegan chirashi sushi roll filled with carrots, green beans, shiitake mushrooms and pickled daikon. You'll also learn how to prepare savory braised tofu and eggplant with soy sauce and a sweet almond milk gelée for dessert.

Amazing!!! 10/10 would recommend this to anyone. Chef Fumiko was very knowledgeable and made the process so easy. The sushi and Miso soup was amazing, and made learning about the history of sushi so fun. We will be trying our hand at this at home and hopefully make it a monthly tradition. Thank you Chef Funiko!
