Cooking Class: Add California Flair to Chinese Cuisine

In this in-person cooking class for two, chef Parsati will teach new and exciting ways to create multi-cultural fusion fare derived from Chinese and California cuisines. You'll begin with dragon cauliflower spiked with ginger, garlic, sesame oil and soy sauce. Your main course is pineapple chicken with fresh herbs and sesame oil, complemented by rainbow fried rice with shrimp and vegetables. A sweet tapioca pearl pudding with saffron and dried fruit rounds out this flavorful meal.

The chef was not only very friendly but also very clean. She kept everything very clean and sanitary in the kitchen and encouraged all the participants to wash their hands before cooking. She was open minded and modified the recipe a bit to work with my guest's spicy comfort level.

Chef Parsati is sweet and kind welcoming us to her home. Her home is very clean and organized. Being an amateur in the kitchen, she was able to walk me through the steps for cooking without feeling too pressured. The food (Vegetarian Japanese) itself was amazing and less greasy than what we’ve had in restaurants. It was an awesome experience for our anniversary. Thank you Chef for the great food and hospitality.
