Enjoy a lesson in comforting Danish cuisine as you learn about the tradition of hygge.
“'Hygge is a Danish concept that loosely translates to being
cozy,” says Chef Daniel. In this hands-on cooking class, you’ll discover how this
translates to cooking with a three-course menu of savory, satisfying dishes that
are perfect for a warm and comfortable night in.
Being with crisp buttermilk fritters with goat cheese and
cured ham, and a beet salad topped with baby kale, pickled shallot and toasted
hazelnuts. And at the center of this feast, a baked seasonal fish served with
sausage, olives and cauliflower purée.

Chef Dan's excellent cooking skills combined with his 'make you feel comfortable' personality made this class fun, informative, and delicious! He is a patient instructor who understands the skill level of the people he is working with and adjusts accordingly. We had a fun anniversary date night enjoying to learn how to prepare and cook scrumptious Vietnamese dishes!

One of the best date experiences I've ever had. Chef did a great job making the novice chefs in the roof feel comfortable and provided an atmosphere that allowed us to make fast friends with the other couples in the class. The food was great, the recipe was simple, and the overall experience was well worth the 3 hour drive.

Had a great time with Daniel. We did the Vietnamese cooking class with just my daughter and me. Daniel was a great host. Got some hands-on experience learning some new techniques. Fried rice and wings were terrific! Lots of room to cook with great music in background. After cooking, we enjoyed a nice sitdown with tasteful place settings in spacious dining area.

After graduating from culinary school, Chef Daniel completed an internship in Umbria, Italy and became a sous chef shortly afterward, partnering with Iron Chef Jose Garces. He's spent the last five years as the go-to chef for a selection of eateries within a restaurant group that has helped elevate a neighborhood in disrepair into a desirable upscale destination.
