Chef Rodney shares time-worn techniques and modern tips to create traditional Italian recipes. In this in-person cooking class, you'll learn how to make a roux, prepare a pastry tart and whip the perfect meringue. You'll begin with sweet corn veloute and a scallop and prawn tart. Next, you'll perfectly pan-sear rainbow trout and serve with roasted figs and wild mushrooms. Tart and refreshing Italian lemon meringue completes this rustic Italian-inspired meal.

The food was good but I feel Chef Rodney could have done prep work before our group arrived. The class went over and I feel Chef Rodney became irritated due to the class going over time. He stated he would send us the recipes and to date I have received anything.

This was an amazing anniversary experience. Chef Rodney was very enjoyable and knowledgeable. Food was awesome. We will be doing more classes with Chef Rodney.

What a joy this class was! He was welcoming from the get go, and a fun chef to work with. New to the Atlanta area, and he already knows so much about the Atlanta cooking scene. He was patient with each dish, and was playful when we messed up. Would book with him again!

Chef Rodney’s enthusiastic personality and thirty-plus years of experience as a sous chef, chef de cuisine and executive chef make his cooking classes as entertaining as they are educational. He’s been featured on Fox 5 in San Diego and has cooked for Aretha Franklin, Bill Gates and President George Bush. He now puts his expertise to fantastic use helming a classic American fare restaurant, where he lends his personal twist to signature dishes.
