Let Thai native Chef Deborah teach you traditional techniques and time-saving secrets to mastering the sophisticated flavor combinations of Thai cuisine in this exciting hands-on class. You’ll learn how to select the best ingredients for your dishes as you prepare tom yum goong, a shrimp soup, and khao pad saparod, a chicken fried rice with pineapple. And, of course, there’s dessert to round out the menu: Ruam mit, a coconut dessert made with assorted fruits and shaved ice.

The cooking class was excellent. Chef Deborah was a delightful fountain of fascinating information about the Thai people and the ingredients and methods they use to create delicious food. The chef 's teaching method of showing technique and then having each guest perform the task was a perfect way to learn. Looking forward to another class soon.

Chef Deborah and her class were AMAZING. My husband and I had a really wonderful time. Chef Deborah patiently explained all of the tradition ingredients, shared where we could buy them, and also provided photos of them in our recipe binder we got to take home for easy shopping in the future! The food was unbelievable. Chicken satay is a simple dish and I rarely order it in a restaurant. However, Chef Deborah's version was UNBELIEVABLE. The chicken was more tender than any other satay I've had and she had many tips about adjusting the flavor of the peanut sauce to your own tastes. We can't wait to do another class with her!

Our class with Chef Deborah was amazing! She was kind, friendly, accommodating, and really went above and beyond in making our experience a special one. The food was all absolutely delicious and she's an incredible teacher - my husband and I learned so much more than we even expected! I want to take another class with her ASAP. Chef Deborah has 20 years of management experience in the food service industry, including working as the general manager of the top three food service companies in the world. She also enjoys spending her free time sharing her culinary passion with others. Armed with a degree in food science and technology, and trained in Thai and Chinese cuisine as well as American-style cooking, Chef Deborah loves any opportunity to help others expand their culinary repertoires.
