Create a three-course Asian inspired dinner in this ramen cooking class.
In this hands-on class with Chef Pao, you'll learn how to prepare Asian classics starting with hot and sticky steam fried dumplings, stuffed with chicken, pork or vegetables. Next, you'll prepare a comforting bowl of ramen from scratch filled with miso, chicken, pork or shrimp, Asian vegetables and chili-sesame oil for a kick. For dessert, indulge in a light and sweet Korean apple pancake topped with creamy vanilla ice cream.

Chef Pao is patient and kind and taught us how to make a California roll and a spicy salmon roll. Although in true Minnesota fashion, we were a very quiet class, it was still a fun and lively way to learn. I really want to say that my sushi turned out perfectly, but that's simply untrue! :) It was delicious, however. I would recommend a class with Chef Pao to anyone looking to try something new and learn a little bit. I would not recommend going by yourself, as the the class was entirely made up of couples - not sure if that's because a cooking class like this makes a great date night so people are self selecting, or the natural anxiety of trying something this new requires a buddy, but bring your partner/mom/friend/tinder date along for the ride. Enjoy!

We had a great experience doing this class. Chef Pao was a wonderful teacher - he made the class fun, easy to follow along, and receptive to all of our questions. We are so excited to try making sushi on our own at home now!
