Chef Lauren will guide you through traditional Italian cooking techniques while sharing the rich history behind these beloved recipes. First, you will prepare a filling yet simple mixed lettuce side salad, with chicories, freshly grated breadcrumbs and a salty anchovy dressing. Follow your starter dish up with creamy lemon ricotta gnocchi with earthy pesto and fresh peas to complement the flavors of the fresh pasta. To finish, you will mix and bake a comforting and succulent strawberry crostata paired with sweet, cool and creamy vanilla gelato. You will learn essential culinary techniques that help to save time and build confidence to make this dish in your home kitchen for family and friends.

Chef Lauren is a very warm, fun and positive person, and her menus reflect her perfectly. They are bright, colorful and scream seasonality. She is a very experienced chef and instructor and her enthusiasm for food is infectious. Great times!
