Sun, Dec 8th at 7:00PM
In Japanese restaurants, it is common for small dishes such as sushi to be served as a set with a side of miso soup. Learn how to make this traditional combination from scratch in this cooking class with Chef Kira.
You will create the umami-rich soup using miso paste plus seaweed and green onions. Chef Kira will also teach you how to make classic California sushi rolls made with seaweed and sticky sushi rice that's filled with cucumber, avocado and imitation crab.
Cooking Classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Kira is amazing! My sister and I had such a great time learning and cooking with her, she truly made the experience wonderful. You can feel her love and respect for the craft seep through when you're cooking. I learned so much. I can't wait to try it out on my own and try another class!
