Pies are a dessert that never fail to please a crowd. There are so many different styles of crust, filling and topping one could make that the combinations are seemingly endless. In this cooking class with Chef Katie, you will learn how to create three different pies completely from scratch.
Start with a fresh berry pie made with a homemade crust. Then, perfect a classic French apple galette with Chef Katie's help. Finally, she will show you how to make a sweet and tart key lime pie with rum-spiked whipped cream served in a graham cracker crust. You will get to take all your creations home when you leave!
Cooking Classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.
