If you want to explore the world of traditional Japanese sushi, this cooking class with Chef Deborah is the perfect place to start. She will teach you how to make three styles of sushi that are completely unique to one another.
Start with a classic California roll filled with surimi and avocado. Next, you will learn how to make a heartier roll filled with grilled beef and spicy mayonnaise. Finally, make nigiri, which is a style of sushi where the ingredients are placed on top of the rice rather than inside it. This sushi will be made with cooked shrimp.

The cooking class was excellent. Chef Deborah was a delightful fountain of fascinating information about the Thai people and the ingredients and methods they use to create delicious food. The chef 's teaching method of showing technique and then having each guest perform the task was a perfect way to learn. Looking forward to another class soon.

Chef Deborah and her class were AMAZING. My husband and I had a really wonderful time. Chef Deborah patiently explained all of the tradition ingredients, shared where we could buy them, and also provided photos of them in our recipe binder we got to take home for easy shopping in the future! The food was unbelievable. Chicken satay is a simple dish and I rarely order it in a restaurant. However, Chef Deborah's version was UNBELIEVABLE. The chicken was more tender than any other satay I've had and she had many tips about adjusting the flavor of the peanut sauce to your own tastes. We can't wait to do another class with her!

Our class with Chef Deborah was amazing! She was kind, friendly, accommodating, and really went above and beyond in making our experience a special one. The food was all absolutely delicious and she's an incredible teacher - my husband and I learned so much more than we even expected! I want to take another class with her ASAP. Thank you, Chef Deborah!
