Cooking Class: Japanese Sushi Making With Chef Jun

Learn to make the perfect nigiri sushi from scratch in this hands-on cooking class.


This session is all about mastering the basics of making sushi while preparing a delectable salmon nigiri. You'll start by learning how to properly season sushi rice with vinegar. Then, you'll make yuzu kosho, a bright citrus garnish that's used to enhance the flavor of the fish. Finally, you'll practice shaping nigiri sushi by hand. By the end of the session, you'll have added a new skillset to your culinary repertoire and can recreate this dish at home.
