Sharpen your knife skills with Chef Daniel in this fascinating, hands-on cooking class.
You'll slice, dice and julienne your way through a three-course French menu while learning professional tips for knife grip, blade maintenance and choosing the right knife for each task. You'll start by creating a traditional mirepoix, which allows you to practice precise cuts on carrots, celery and onions. Then, you'll move on to more advanced techniques like breaking down summer squash and preparing tomatoes for a vibrant ratatouille. The session concludes with you slicing paper-thin apple slices for a classic French tarte fine. Did someone say bon appétit?

This was such a great experience and Chef Daniel made it fun and interesting. I learned so much about cooking in general with different ingredients to being out the flavor! I would definitely do another class and highly recommend this one. The food was delicious!

Chef Daniel hails from Argentina, a country known for its vibrant blend of cultures. He’s lived in Los Angeles for the past 35 years, exploring a rich diversity of cuisines that informs his ingredients and techniques on a daily basis. Chef Daniel aims to teach his students the fundamentals of cooking, in hopes that they will one day grow beyond his recipes to discover a culinary world all their own.
