Cooking Class: Tasty Spanish Cuisine With Chef Rachel

Learn to recreate authentic Spanish flavors in this cooking class with Chef Adina.


During this session, you'll prepare a menu that brings the best of European cuisine to your table. Start with a flavorful appetizer of delicate leek tartlets called tartaletas de puerro. For the main course, you’ll make seafood and mushroom fideuà, a noodle-based paella with earthy mushrooms and fresh seafood. Then, you'll prepare garlic-sautéed potatoes with olive oil and peppers. Finally, end your meal on a sweet note with a warm, flaky apple pie empanada. The best part about this cooking class is that all of these dishes can be made vegan, vegetarian or even gluten free.

Tartaletas de Puerro

Can be made vegetarian

With tartlet shells, onion, white wine, oil, leeks, butter and prawns


Patatas a lo Pobre

Can be made vegan and gluten free

With potato, onion, white wine, oil, salt & parsley, vegetable broth, eggs, garlic and flour


Mushroom and Seafood Fideuà

Can be made vegan and gluten free

With fideuà, mushrooms, white wine, soy sauce, garlic, onion, oil, shrimp and mussels


Apple Pie Empanadas

Vegan

With apple, sugar, lemon, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, cornstarch and flour

Rachel was very helpful and the meal was genuinely delicious. I feel confident that I could recreate it now on my own. If you have allergies let her know so you can plan together to avoid them in your meal. She was very sweet with our dog and made due with our minimal tools and experience. We would definitely work with her again!
