Cooking Class: Make Signature Sushi Rolls With Chef Jose
Let Chef Jose guide you through an immersive cooking class all about crafting fresh sushi from scratch.
While this session is mainly focused on making California and veggie rolls, you'll also learn essential sushi-making techniques like how to properly cook and season your rice, rolling with a bamboo mat and selecting the freshest ingredients. Speaking of ingredients, you'll start the class by preparing a California roll with nori, sushi rice, avocado, surimi and cucumber. Then, you'll prepare a veggie roll, which features nori, sushi rice, mango, avocado and cucumber. Both dishes are light, refreshing and just what your cooking rotation needs.
