This was the first time that my wife and I had taken a cooking course. There was virtually no instruction unless you were one of the lucky ones around the table that happened to be in front of him while he demonstrated. The resulting product was not really edible. The rice was a mushy mess. The whole time the class felt rushed and disorganized.

Absolutely loved this class. Chef Timothy was very knowledgeable and informative. It was just a really cool and unique experience. The sushi was also delicious! :)

There were lots of people at the class, but Chef Timothy was able to give good instructions and help everyone as needed. He also gave some very helpful tips and techniques! Also, he was very kind and personable, and my friends and I had lots of fun in this class! The food tasted great as well!

This was an awful experience all around. I don't know if it was a Class Pop issue, but our class was severely overbooked and there were 26 people instead of 10. Chef Timothy had zero time to give any instruction and was running around all night basically throwing ingredients at us. We were on our own to figure out how to do anything and it took forever. The sushi was also the worst sushi I've ever had. The rice was overcooked, mushy, and flavorless. My friend and I honestly felt sick afterwards from eating it. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Do not take this class. There was no instruction, no rolling techniques taught, no knife skills demonstration, no product identification on what we were using. Chef Timothy did not give any explanation for what we were doing at any point, he handed us rice and we had to learn from watching a different table who knew what they were doing. Raw ingredients were left sitting out on tables, one table ate all the salmon before anyone else could have any so the rest of the class had to split a small piece of tuna. Cutting boards were never sanitized, neither were knifes. Chef Timothy repeated handled food and raw fish with his bare hands. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he washed his hands, but I never saw it. This was a horrible experience and I have contacted ClassPop for a refund. Do not take this class.

We simply do not know where to begin. I booked the Chinese Takeout course as a birthday gift for my husband. Chef Timothy arrived early, was organized, & brought EVERYTHING needed and more. He was personable, patient, and really detailed in his explanations of recipes and techniques. We were hanging on every word!! The food was not good, or great, it was seriously extraordinary. We were using a spatula to get every drop of sauce, rice, chicken, to make sure we didn't toss a single thing. Apart from the food itself--having such an established & highly esteemed chef in our home was truly an honor. We cannot have Chef Timothy back soon enough---telling every person we know to book him ASAP!! We are rationing our leftovers :)
