You'll begin the class at a local market, tasting fresh cheese and exploring the culture of Lisbon. Here, you'll also pick out fresh ingredients to use in your dishes. Cook fresh clams with lemon juice, cilantro, and olive oil to make amêijoas à bulhão pato, bursting with a vibrant, zesty flavor. Then, make a traditional Portuguese fish stew, caldeirada de peixe, filled with fish, shrimp, and potatoes for a comforting dish. A bright torta de laranja, an orange roll cake, serves as a decadent dessert to end the meal.
