Cooking Class: Make an Authentic Greek Feast
Transport your tastebuds to Greece in this immersive cooking class led by Chef Ivan.
In this class, you'll learn how to craft a multi-course meal featuring traditional Greek dishes. You'll begin the class with a refreshing Greek salad filled with tomatoes, cucumbers, Kalamata olives and Feta cheese crumbles. Next, layer phyllo pastry with spinach and Feta cheese to make a crispy spanakopita. You'll also make tiropita with feta layered with flaky phyllo dough. Whip up a homemade tzatziki sauce with Greek yogurt, cucumbers and garlic. Wrap seasoned ground beef and rice in vine leaves to make dolmades. Layer eggplant, ground meat and a homemade béchamel sauce for a decadent moussaka. Layer flaky phyllo dough with walnuts and honey syrup for an indulgent baklava to end the meal.

Attending the cooking class during my visit to New York was one of my highlights from the trip. It was a small intimate class and the chef did a great job of explaining tips and processes for cooking. I highly recommend it.

10/10 recommend this pasta workshop 101! My friend and I decided to join the class as a part of our NY trip! Amazing vibes from the Chef and delicious food. I believe Chef mentioned the recipes would be emailed to us sometime after the class. Can’t wait to try to make the pasta for my family at home!

Chef Stefano was amazing! Was a great activity - where you’re learning to make homemade pasta and creating authentic recipes in a relaxed and totally enjoyable atmosphere! Highly recommend for family, friends and couples.

Meet your chef
Chef Ivan began attending culinary school at the tender age of 14. His adventures in the world of food preparation took him through Europe and eventually brought him to New York, where he manages a catering company and volunteers teaching children's cooking classes. With a focus on sushi, Italian and French cuisines, Chef Ivan is always excited to share novel kitchen techniques with his guests and students.
