Explore the flavors of Latin cuisine in this hands-on cooking class with Chef James.
Under the guidance of Chef James, you'll learn how to make four dishes for a Latin-inspired feast. Begin the class by making elotes. Whip up a creamy sauce with mayonnaise, lime and chili powder to spread on roasted corn and finish with a sprinkle of Cotija cheese. Next, cook savory carnitas or birria to top tostadas along with black beans, onions, tomatoes and Cotija cheese. On the side, enjoy fluffy rice seasoned with cilantro and lime. Finish the class by making a homemade custard for a decadent flan topped with sweet caramel sauce for dessert.
