Cooking Class: Make Fresh Tagliatelle Pasta With Chef Erin
Immerse yourself in the heart of Italian home cooking during this interactive cooking class with Chef Erin!
Under her expert guidance, you'll learn how to make pasta and bruschetta from scratch. Begin the class by learning the time-honored recipe to make pasta dough from scratch with flour, olive oil and eggs. Then, master the technique of kneading the dough and shaping it into tagliatelle pasta. As the pasta boils, cook up a fresh marinara sauce with crushed tomatoes flavored with garlic and Italian herbs. Then, practice your knife skills to chop tomato, basil and garlic to top a toasted bread. Then, finish your bruschetta with a drizzle of olive oil. Serve alongside your homemade pasta and enjoy your Italian feast.

Caveat emptor… this isn’t really making ramen so much as assembling ramen from pre-prepped components. Chef Erin should revisit her format - crowding around hot plates that blew out the circuit breaker in the storage room of a Saké bar wasn’t really what I was expecting at this price point. At the end of it, I did end up with a good bowl of ramen and the knowledge of how to marinate a hard boiled egg. Chef Erin is also really nice and a lot of fun to spend time with.
