Cooking Class: Craft Traditional Sushi

Dive into the authentic techniques of Japanese cuisine in this hands-on cooking class. 


Led by Chef Jace, you'll learn the expert techniques to create a traditional salmon sushi roll. The class begins by prepping ingredients for your handmade sushi roll. Practice your knife skills to chop cucumbers, herbs and sushi-grade salmon. Then, lay out your seaweed sheets and layer your fresh vegetables and smoked salmon with a light mayo and cream cheese. Then, master the technique to roll you sushi tight like a professional and cut it into pieces. 


Enjoy your bite-sized treats as you revel in your newfound culinary skills!

I had the pleasure of trying Zuri Q's and Chef Jason at a pop up at Pontoon Brewery. The food was tasty and made me think of the Sunday dinners I grew up eating. The collard greens have something special in there! Pork- free but don't lack in the flavor
