Cooking Class: Asian Cuisines With New Orleans Roots
Explore two unique cuisines by creating fusion dishes in this hands-on cooking class. Classic Louisiana cooking meets colorful Thai, Japanese and Chinese flavors, starting with crawfish spring rolls brimming with fresh herbs and veggies, dipped in Thai chili sauce. Next, simmer up a peppery beef noodle soup, similar to Yaka Mein, made with homemade egg noodles and lots of bold spices. For dessert, caramelize sugar atop a matcha-infused custard for crème brûlée that's half French half Japanese.
