You'll feel like you're in an Italian kitchen in this hands-on cooking class. Under the guidance of Chef Shonta, you'll learn the time-honored techniques to make pasta and gnocchi from scratch.
Begin with an introduction to the high-quality ingredients used in the recipe before diving into making dough. You'll combine flour, eggs and water into a dough and master the proper way to knead and shape it. Plus, you'll learn the different techniques to create a variety of pasta shapes. Then, make gnocchi dough with potatoes, flour and water. Cut perfect, bite-sized pieces and cook them to pillowy soft perfection. Chef Shonta will even provide guidance on the best sauces to pair with each type of pasta. You'll elevate your weekly pasta nights with the recipes and techniques in this cooking class.
Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be fun, social events. Feel free to purchase wine or beer at the venue to enjoy during the class.
