Cooking Class: Master Sushi Rolling
Skip the busy sushi restaurant and make your own in this immersive cooking class. All you need is an artistic eye and a little guidance from an expert to start making colorful and enticing rolls at home. After mixing hot rice with mirin and a hint of sugar, you're left with the ideal sticky rice base. Expertly slice and dice avocado and cucumber to layer with crab meat for the perfect California roll, then use a classic bamboo roller for a perfect roll. Cleanse your palate with a traditional side salad that blends cooling cucumber with ginger and a tangy vinegar dressing.

Fun class. Chef needs a little more experience under her belt to be sure she has all needed supplies (cutting boards, enough cooked rice etc). But we learned sushi !

Chef Adriana's 18 years in the culinary industry have led her to hold the titles of head chef, restaurant owner and catering company owner. Working in a kitchen has become second nature, whether she's experimenting with a new recipe or teaching students a new technique. Mexican and French cuisines are her specialty.
