Cooking Class: Persian Brunch Specialties
Transport yourself to the Middle East for this immersive cooking class. Chef Jay will guide you through a vibrant menu that will infuse your brunch with delicious flavors. Start by preparing muhammara, a smoky roasted red pepper dip made with roasted red peppers, toasted walnuts, garlic, tahini and pomegranate molasses. Then, make shakshuka, a classic dish of poached eggs served in a rich tomato and bell pepper sauce. Follow with khagineh, a Persian pancake served with saffron syrup, and learn how to incorporate fragrant crushed rose petals and pistachios. Complete your experience with a soothing cup of hot Persian herbal tea to unwind.
