No culinary culture represents the delicious traditions of gourmet traditions as well as French cuisine, as this in-person cooking class with Chef Antonio demonstrates. Learn the basics as you prepare an incredible meal filled with dishes treasured by fine diners around the world. Begin by whipping up a classic vichyssoise, flavored with robust leeks and chives. Then, prepare your own coq au vin and discover the charm of a perfectly sliced ratatouille. Don't forget dessert, a silky crème brûlée, complete with a crispy caramelized sugar top.
MENU
Vichyssoise (Chilled Leek and Potato Soup)
With leeks, potatoes, chicken stock, heavy cream and chives
Coq au Vin
With chicken thighs, red wine, pearl onions, bacon and cremini mushrooms
Ratatouille Provençale
With eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, tomatoes and fresh thyme
Crème Brûlée
With heavy cream, vanilla bean, egg yolks, granulated sugar and raw sugar for caramelizing
