These classic Southern comfort foods will have you wanting to celebrate in this hands-on cooking class. Chef Nyjal will teach you the recipes of four favorites to take to your next gathering. First, learn how to make a savory Thanksgiving-style dressing topped with toasted bread crumbs. Next, make mac and cheese just like grandma used to make with a creamy homemade cheese sauce. Use creamed corn to make the perfect flaky cornbread for a side. Finish, with rich candied yams and a seasonal fruit cobbler for decadent desserts.
