Join Chef John for a culinary journey where you will explore Southern ingredients, time-honored cooking techniques, and learn how to make a down home dish featuring an iconic duo completely from scratch.
From preparing the batter to coating and frying the chicken, to mixing, pouring and making Belgian waffles, and whipping up perfectly thick and custard-like crème fraîche, Chef John will guide you through the entire process of making homemade fried chicken and waffles so good you'll never order them from a restaurant ever again.
Cooking Classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

What an awesome experience! We had such a good time! Chef John and his staff were so engaging and created a fun time for us. We learned all sorts of tricks of the trade and prepared a delicious 4 course meal. Would be a great group activity or date night. Can't wait to try the Mexican experience he told us about last night.
