Cooking Class: Flavorful Middle Eastern Menu
Let Chef Sarah show you the magic of traditional Middle Eastern cooking in a meal meant to impress your friends and family. You'll discover a time-honored cuisine in which fresh flavor and wholesome ingredients are key to delicious success.
You'll transform roasted eggplant and vibrant aromatics into authentic baba ghanoush and bake your own homemade pita to serve it with. Then, craft your own tender and flavorful chicken shawarma and prepare a Lebanese rice dish peppered with toasted almonds for a savory side.
You'll also assemble a refreshing chickpea and cucumber salad and bake a sweet, flaky baklava for dessert.

Baba Ghanoush and Homemade Pita Bread

Chicken Shawarma and Lebanese Rice
With onions, garlic, spices and toasted almonds
Balela Salad
With chickpeas, cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, parsley, mint and sumac

Chef Sarah was SO knowledgeable about the roots of our cooking experience, while sharing her tips and tricks to success along the way. She was personable, easy to talk to, and a great facilitator of the class. Her recipe for Thai Green Curry did not disappoint! This was one of the most authentic Thai dishes I’ve ever had! Meet your chef
Chef Sarah’s love for food began at a young age while working on a produce farm in high school. This early connection to the origins of fruits and vegetables led to her lifelong passion for the culinary arts. A certified sous chef with two culinary degrees, Chef Sarah has worked as a cooking instructor and personal chef, all the while dedicating herself to teaching others how to cook flavorful and healthy meals.
