Cooking Class: Perfecting the Ramen Noodle

In this fun cooking class, you'll learn from the talented Chef Ricky how to make the perfect ramen soup with fresh, handmade noodles along with several other classic Asian dishes. 

 

Start by filling steamed bao buns with savory pork belly and pickled cucumbers. Then, learn the best methods to make homemade ramen noodles paired with stock and ramen toppings, including menma, which are seasoned bamboo shoots, and ajitama, which are seasoned soft-boiled eggs. 


For something sweet, Chef Ricky will teach you how to deep-fry green tea ice cream.

Classic Gua Bao

Steamed buns filled with pork belly and pickled cucumbers


Homemade Ramen Noodles

With flour, water and kansui


Ramen Soup Stock

With beef stock, chicken stock and pork belly


Menma and Ajitama

With pickled bamboo shoots and soft-boiled eggs marinated in soy sauce and mirin
