Get the best of both Puerto Rican and Mediterranean flavors in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Iliana whose careful instruction will help you put together a mouthwatering menu.
First, blend chickpeas, lemon and garlic to create a hummus to serve with tostones and chicharrons. Next, slow roast marinated pork to make a traditional dish of Puerto Rican pernil using Mediterranean herbs and spices to be served with a classic quinoa salad.
Finally, prepare a coconut dessert pudding — popular in Puerto Rico — drizzled with Mediterranean honey.
