From the sun-flooded coasts of Sicily to the hill towns of Puglia, this hands-on cooking class with Chef Michael explores all the best recipes of Southern Italy. First, shave zucchini, celery, and cremini mushrooms to create a refreshing shaved salad covered in lemon and pecorino cheese. Next, hand-make cavatelli pasta in a mascarpone wine sauce with shrimp and peas. Finally, assemble a cherry and peach zabaglione – a classic Italian dessert – with hints of sweet marsala and pistachio.

Chef Michael was super friendly and informative. He taught us a bunch of great techniques and made things really easy to understand. The food came out amazing and I would highly recommend doing this class! Will definitely be attending again!

Chef Michael is amazing! We were a five person group who have known each other for decades. We typically have a holiday brunch that one of hosts but this year we decided to change it up. We had a blast with Chef Michael and the other participants. Chef Michael's passion for cooking good food comes out in his teaching and the projects he's a part of. In addition to being a great chef, he has some dancing skills too! We left the night with full bellies and new memories. Thanks, Chef!
