Recently attended a Chef Melissa dumpling cooking class for my birthday, that exceeded all my expectations. The small class size fostered a warm romantic and inviting atmosphere, allowing for plenty of personal attention from Chef Melissa. She was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the art of dumpling-making, guiding us through each step with patience and enthusiasm even catering for our dietary needs. We started with the basics—before diving into various filling options. I appreciated the emphasis on both traditional techniques and creative variations. The hands-on experience was both fun and educational. I loved the opportunity to fold the dumplings, and even experiment with different shapes. The class ended with a delicious tasting session, where we enjoyed our creations alongside some homemade soup. Overall, this class was a delightful blend of culinary education and social interaction. I left feeling inspired and excited to recreate the experience at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn about Chinese cuisine in a cozy setting!
