Chef Li is ready to share the secrets of authentic Asian-style dumplings in this informative cooking class! These dim sum favorites are a cinch to prepare with Chef Li leading the lesson. You'll learn to prepare a simple yet sumptuous traditional dumpling dough using only flour, water and salt. Then, you'll cook up a delicious filling using fresh pork flavored with aromatics like warm ginger, bright spring onions and zesty Chinese vinegar.
Cooking classes on Classpop! are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase alcoholic beverages from the venue to enjoy during the class.

Chef Li was amazing!! She was so nice, she accommodated food for someone in our group who can’t eat meat, and she was so helpful! I would highly recommend taking a class with her. However, the way the ad for this class was written made us believe there would be a drink included with the purchase and there wasn’t, there were only two burners to use for cooking, and the location didn’t allow for great conversation as it was only one long table (but these aren’t anything Chef Li could control!).

Meet your chef
Chef Li is an experienced chef who has cooked and studied all around the world. She was formerly based in Singapore, where she offered private cooking classes as well as corporate cooking events. Now Chef Li offers cooking classes in the US, although her style is influenced by her international background. Although Chef Li specializes in traditional Chinese and Southeast Asian cuisine, she welcomes students of all culinary backgrounds and loves the chance to open their minds to new cooking styles.
