Instructor Maxine was born with a need to capture the world around her. This passion grew into a successful photography career that began at a portrait studio where Instructor Maxine developed a variety of techniques such as posing, lighting, but most importantly, how to work with her favorite subject: people. Instructor Maxine managed a successful camera store, leading classes and helping customers learn both the technical and aesthetic sides of photography. With years of experience as a freelance photographer, she is excited to use her knowledge to assist in creating lasting memories.

Every time Maxine Arton leaves my house, we do “Hollywood kisses” and I say, “What would I do without you.” When she solves a tech problem I have to embarrass her by referring to her genius. I first met Maxine when she was manager of the Alamo Wolf Camera Store. I took some of her digital cameral classes. Planning for my 50 Wedding Anniversary in 2012 she not only agreed to be my photographer but also helped us put together several photo boards depicting our 50 year marriage. At the event I was impressed with her unobtrusive coverage. Her candid shots included all 100 guests, a very thorough job. Afterward she helped me with several photo projects and computer problems. Recovering from a fractured pelvis, I asked Maxx to be my personal assistant. Not for personal care, but help with grocery shopping, emptying trash and helping me with chores that I could not longer tackle. She comes to my house once or twice a week. We are currently redoing my tattered family album. She has made it not only a fun experience but she has implemented several creative ideas that I would never had thought of. It will now be in book form and it will be a beautiful legacy for my family. I do not know what I would do without her in my life.
