Chef Lorry and her “assistant” were amazing! Personable, patient and fun. We learned a lot and had a blast, the sushi was delicious!! Thank you for a wonderful experience, the venue was also great.

Let me first say that my date and I had a great time. Lorry was great but the instruction took place at a dog friendly bar that was hard to find because it was ducked off of Leetsdale with no lighting. It didn’t look like where I was supposed to be lol. The waitress that helped us 100% on drugs and kept asking if she could take our plates every 5 minutes. There were drunk customers that were uncomfortably comfortable with us lol. Even though I have some great stories now and I love dogs, maybe a venue without dog hair and some sort of separation from the rowdy crowd? This was definitely more about the venue than anything else. Sushi was good and the portions were surprisingly filling. I would come again but at a different location.

Lordy was very personable and taught us the great basics of sushi making! Also gave good recommendations for finding good quality fish so we can make at home! Would definitely recommend this and would do another cooking class with her!

Did not attend. Showed up at the venue. No one greeted us, everyone was questioning what to do. Not friendly. Didn't feel comfortable at all. We left. Really feel a partial refund is due. Not a memorable experience. Maybe signs, and people working there to GREET and MORE WELCOMING!

The cooking class was a very disappointing experience. My fiance and I peeled one carrot between the two of us during the two hour class, and each group was not given enough materials to engage everyone. The class was located in a dingy bar space and chairs were not provided. The "bahn mi" was extremely bland, and the actual pho making process was confusing ( more of a rushed demonstration -- and recipes were not provided for us to follow). There are many options for cooking classes in the Denver area with better facilities, materials, and instruction.

We had a fabulous time at Chef Lorry's sushi making class. She was great at explaining each of the dishes we were making, as well as all of the ingredients that go into making great sushi. I also loved how organized she was with the class - the ingredient station was set up neatly and each student had their own bamboo mat to roll sushi. Overall it was a really fun experience learning something new, meeting the other guests and we'll definitely be back!
