Instructor Kendric will teach you how to make your own custom candle from scratch in this candle making class.
The class begins with an introduction and overview of the candle making process. Instructor Kendric will teach about the materials you'll use, including paraffin or soy wax, fragrance oils, wicks, thermometers and more. First, you'll select your fragrance oils to create your personal scent profile. Then, you'll learn how to heat, scent and color the wax before pouring it into your container. After a quick snack break while the candle cools, you'll decorate your creation with decorative labels. Finish off by sharing your candle with the class.
