Team Building Activity: Sushi-Centered Cooking Competition
Gather your crew for a team building activity that combines exciting competition with lots of chef-approved sushi! With Chef Mike as your group's expert guide, you'll all get a delicious sushi-making lesson before a culinary challenge ignites the room!
To start, everyone will prepare and enjoy mouthwatering honey-soy edamame. Then, they'll get a lesson on how to make the perfect sushi rice and expert knife skills before splitting into groups to compete. The group that makes the most innovative, eye-catching sushi roll will be crowned Sushi Master! Everyone will get to nibble on matcha cookies as they bond and relax to wrap up this awesome event.
MENU
All necessary cooking equipment, dinnerware and utensils will be provided by the chef. The venue is required to have access to an outlet, sinks nearby, tables set-up to prep and garbage containers. Chefs are able to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes in advance.

Meet your chef
Chef Mike has experience concocting a wide range of ethnic cuisines, including Thai, Indian and Ethiopian options. For the past five years, he has led a variety of cooking workshops, but his specialty lies in crafting ethnic plant-based dishes. Chef Mike has worked in corporate test kitchens for Walmart and Campbells, and he even worked as an on-call assistant to the chef of the Canadian Prime Minister. He is eager to impart his worldly knowledge unto aspiring chefs.
