The overall experience was decent. Rajesh was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. He provided an enjoyable class where everyone felt they were heard and able to ask questions without being judged. The class was easy going and allowed everyone a chance to make their own special rolls! Thank you so much for the class! Pros - cute date idea, decent sushi, nice teacher, friendly people. Cons- kinda expensive (65$ for around 4-5 pieces of sushi), the layout wasn't good only because if you sit at the back you cannot hear what is going on, little supply of equipment meaning you have to wait awhile before getting a chance to participate. Overall wouldn't do it again but I appreciate the opportunity.

This did not feel like a professional experience. Rajesh brought canned crab, brown rice (as opposed to sushi rice, which is odd considering it’s a sushi making class), and limited ingredients, enough for three rolls for my girlfriend and I, when the description stated two rolls per person. This event also took much longer than needed, as context we did not even start rolling sushi until 45 mins in. Overall would not recommend.

Great teacher. Venue was a bit weird and it was hard to hear at the back but when we moved up it was great. Chef Rajesh is knowledgeable and inspiring. There was at least one teenager there and I was told I could not bring my 16 year old cousin there so that was disappointing as this was supposed to be his birthday present. 5 stars for the chef. 2 stars to class pop and 4 stars to the venue.

For the price, I expected to make at least 2 rolls, but you only get one. The class is basically watching the instructor talk and make a roll himself. Then you get to wait awhile to make your own roll, as he splits the whole group into 3 people at a time to go to the table to make a roll. Weird, because most people come with somebody so one person ends up watching and waiting while their partner makes theirs. I think it would work better having your own station of supplies and make them at the same time.. and maybe they get to eat together too. The set up was 2 picnic table squeezed together close to the instructors table, and yet it was still difficult to hear over the loud music playing in the establishment. I wouldn't waste my money again.

Absolutely not worth. Very unhygenic sharing sushi roller among 20 people, along with dishes that get also shared among 20 people. I got very sick for 4 days after this class. Plus all ingredients are prepared for you, don’t learn a thing but rolling.

It was okay, ingredients were on the cheaper end, and you only get to make 1 roll. You also have to wait your turn to make a roll (the chef does not have the enough equipment nor tablespace for the whole class to participate at once, so you're just waiting for your turn to make a roll as other people take their turns coming up to the chef's table to each have their 1 turn at rolling a roll.) Kind of overpriced for what it is...but then everything nowadays is.

Rajesh was an incredible chef and super nice but the quality of the class was just not what I expected. You don’t really get to make your own pasta, ingredients do not match the description or pictures. We were sat 25 people at 2 picnic tables and most could not see the chef cooking. Not worth what you pay. Do yourself a favour and watch a video on YouTube and buy your own ingredients for 1/4 the price!
