Cooking Class: Preparing Vegan Sushi Favorites

Join Chef Angela for an interactive cooking class while preparing plant-based sushi. Learn how to prepare your favorite sushi rolls with vegan ingredients for a refreshing spin. 


Begin by crafting zesty homemade kimchi for a traditional appetizer. Next, create a vegan spicy “tuna” roll with nutty sunflower seeds and bold, spicy ingredients. Then, roll an eggplant “eel” unagi roll filled with teriyaki, tofu and zesty spices. End your meal with an exciting dairy-free dessert: vegan matcha ice cream prepared with frozen bananas, maple syrup, vanilla and sea salt.

Homemade Kimchi

With cabbage, apples, carrot or radish, Korean red pepper, dulse flakes and tamari


Vegan Spicy "Tuna" Roll

With sunflower seeds, ginger, garlic, tamari, shallots, chili peppers and smoked paprika


Eggplant “Eel” Unagi Roll

With teriyaki, tofu, green onions, garlic, ginger and black sesame


Vegan Matcha Ice Cream

With frozen bananas, coconut or avocado, maple syrup, vanilla and sea salt
