Cooking Class: Mediterranean Pasta Party

Join Chef Logan for an interactive Italian cooking class and learn how to prepare all sorts of Mediterranean pasta dishes from scratch. Chef Logan will share with you professional cooking techniques and show you how to use high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. To kick things off, you'll first make a cashew pesto with fresh basil, before toasting up French bread topped with roasted garlic butter. Then, you'll move on to the main feature and prepare Mediterranean-inspired handmade gnocchi pasta with sun-dried tomatoes, olives and oregano-lemon chicken. Lastly, for dessert, you'll whip up decadent torta barozzi — Italian brownies — generously loaded with nuts and chocolate.

I am coming back to leave a review after completing another sushi class and realizing there were some things we really enjoyed about Chef Logan's Class. 1. Written instructions and recipes. It was so helpful to walk through the rice cooking process. It made a big difference in the texture of the rice. We also appreciate that you took the time to write out the recipes and shopping lists. 2. Tips and Techniques: My daughter and I both learned some new things about knife skills. I am glad he took a moment to discuss them. Chef Logan had a rolling technique that was very easy to remember. The only small critique is that it was sometimes hard to hear. We had to turn our volume up and then attach a speaker. Maybe a wireless headphone would help?
