Explore the vibrant flavors of the popular roadside dhaba restaurants of India in this cooking class with Chef Rahul. You will learn to add tadka, whole or ground spices heated in hot oil or ghee, to create beloved Indian dishes such as aloo tikka chaat and tikka masala. Pair your dishes with fresh chutneys and warm roti for an authentic Indian dhaba experience. To finish the meal, you will prepare classic Indian sweets including gulab jamun served with a creamy, saffron-infused kesar rabri.

Chef Rahul is a wonderful instructor! He teaches different techniques on how to bring out different flavors of spices while cooking. He adds a unique flare to traditional dishes.
Chef Rahul is passionate about handcrafting culinary creations at home and at work, and lives by the motto, “good food creates good mood.” He’s served as executive chef at many hotels throughout Canada and enjoys designing innovative, cost-effective menus with creative presentations. Currently, Chef Rahul operates a popular restaurant in Edmonton where he features fine Indian fare, but he loves preparing dishes from all over the world.
