Cooking Class: Tiffin Treats from South India
Discover the South Indian tea tradition known as the tiffin in this informative cooking class from Chef Vinutha. She'll demonstrate the techniques for assembling this charming collection of tasty bites! You'll create a selection of chutneys in savory coconut and spicy peanut versions. Then, you'll prepare upma, a semolina pudding served with vegetables and cashews, and a sweet pudding filled with pineapple and raisings. You'll also fry up a batch of vadai, savory lentil donuts flavored with ginger and cumin.

She holds a special passion for pairing food and wine and loves creating Indian, Italian, Thai and Lebanese dishes for her friends and family to enjoy. When she isn't teaching, Chef Vinutha is busy creating her own catering company and broadcasting videos celebrating the cuisine of South India on her YouTube channel.
