Cooking Class: Craft Veggie Tacos and Mexican Salsa With Chef Karine

Under the guidance of Chef Karine, you'll learn how to make tortillas, salsa and fillings from scratch. You'll begin the class by using masa harina, salt and water to make fresh corn tortillas and pan-fry them until they're perfectly golden brown. Next, practice your knife skills to chop tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, cilantro and lime. Then, combine these fresh ingredients to make a zesty pico de gallo. Whip up a variety of taco fillings, including black beans and sautéed vegetables. Assemble your tacos with the savory fillings and homemade salsa on top before enjoying your feast and reveling in your newfound culinary skills.
