In this cooking class with Chef Rajesh, you'll learn how to prepare sushi rice to achieve the ideal stickiness and flavor. Next, you'll layer nori sheets with the seasoned rice and arrange fillings like surimi and cucumber for the California roll or cucumber and cream cheese for the veggie roll. Chef Rajesh will demonstrate the rolling technique, showing you how to tightly encase the ingredients before slicing your creation into perfect bite-sized pieces. Throughout the class, you'll get personalized tips and tricks to ensure your sushi rolls are as delightful to look at as they are to eat!

The overall experience was decent. Rajesh was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. He provided an enjoyable class where everyone felt they were heard and able to ask questions without being judged. The class was easy going and allowed everyone a chance to make their own special rolls! Thank you so much for the class! Pros - cute date idea, decent sushi, nice teacher, friendly people. Cons- kinda expensive (65$ for around 4-5 pieces of sushi), the layout wasn't good only because if you sit at the back you cannot hear what is going on, little supply of equipment meaning you have to wait awhile before getting a chance to participate. Overall wouldn't do it again but I appreciate the opportunity.

This did not feel like a professional experience. Rajesh brought canned crab, brown rice (as opposed to sushi rice, which is odd considering it’s a sushi making class), and limited ingredients, enough for three rolls for my girlfriend and I, when the description stated two rolls per person. This event also took much longer than needed, as context we did not even start rolling sushi until 45 mins in. Overall would not recommend.
